The incident took place just before 5 a.m. at the Shell gas station and Bader's Food Mart on South 1st Street.

Louisville Metro Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has arrested Devin, C. Hudson on a charge of first-degree assault.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identifies the victim as 19-year-old Christian Gwynn of Louisville.

The incident appears to be an accident, LMPD said. 

Police responded to the reported shooting on I-264 between Poplar Level and Newburg Road around 8 p.m. Saturday.

The official cause of death won't be known for a few weeks, but the coroner's office says it was a homicide. 

The man's body was found around noon in the 600 block of south 42nd Street.

Police say the 20,000 fentanyl pills were disguised as Xanax.
