A corrections officer found the inmate, a man, unresponsive Sunday morning in a housing unit, jail officials said. 

A corrections officer found a 36-year-old inmate unresponsive in their cell Friday, according to Metro Corrections Assistant Director Steve Durham. 

The man was booked into Metro Corrections on Sept. 2 on a Kentucky parole violation warrant.
