Although those types of rescue situations are less frequent, they're often life-threatening to the victims as well as first responders. 

Mt. Washington Fire Department and Fern Creek Fire were dispatched to a garage fire that expanded to the house. Firefighters had to set up rural water supply because a hydrant wasn't close by.

A Safe Haven Baby Box was unveiled in Mount Washington, becoming the ninth newborn-saving device the state.

The service will officially "go live" on Monday, June 28 at 9 a.m.

"It's like constantly playing chess," Chief Michael Dooley said. "You're having to move stuff here and move stuff there."
