Indiana State Police, the Louisville Metro Police Department and local agencies will have drop-off locations in place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23.
Collection sites will be set up nationwide and they're all accept expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. They will be disposed of without threat to the environment.
Working to keep unused prescriptions from getting into the wrong hands, organizations across the country participated in National Prescription Drug Takeback Day on Saturday.
