This year's Christmas Gift Extravaganza will be held Saturday, Dec. 21, from noon until 4 p.m. at the First Gethsemane Center located at 1221 First Gethsemane Avenue in the Algonquin neighborhood. 

Saturday afternoon, dozens of people will meet at First Gethsemane Baptist Church on Algonquin Parkway for the annual L.O.V.E. (Love Overcomes Violence and its Effects) Walk. 

Family, friends and even those at the cookout who had never met Tiffanie Floyd all spoke about a tragic trend: victim's of violence in Louisville are getting young and younger.

New Day Ministries is hosting a L.O.V.E. Walk on Saturday, May 8 in the Chickasaw neighborhood. 

New Day Ministries and New Covenant Baptist Church partnered to pass out bikes.
