The data shows a person who kills someone in Louisville has a greater than 50% chance of not being arrested.

Nylah Linear was shot and killed while walking four blocks to her aunt's house with her younger sisters on July 21, 2021. The walk renewed calls for justice as the family waits for answers and arrest in Nylah's case. 

Nylah Linear died on July 21, exactly three months ago, after she was shot in front of her aunt's house near Cecil Avenue and 42nd Street during a block party.

Council members have questioned why the program hasn't fully been implemented.

The event was all about friends, family, and the community honoring Nylah —a show of support for a family in mourning.

As of Thursday night, no arrests had been made and no suspects identified in the case of Nylah Linear or Michelle Moore.
