The blaze broke out just after 8 p.m. Saturday at The Potter’s House, a faith-based transitional home in North Vernon that supports men overcoming addiction and substance abuse.

Customers who went to the facility Wednesday to check on their belongings were turned away, with security citing the ongoing investigation by the state fire marshal.

Tri-Township Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire in the 11000 block of US Route 31 around 3 p.m.

Firefighters were called to Kingsfield Apartments on Mills Lane, off Green Valley Road, in New Albany around 9:30 Wednesday night.
