A suspect is in custody after Jeffersonville police said an overnight stabbing was followed by a hours-long barricade at a home on East 8th Street.

LMPD's Non-Fatal-Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.

According to police, the teen sustained a "serious bodily injury" and the dog was also injured.
