LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 38-year-old man was arrested by Jeffersonville Police after a hit-and-run involving a 14-year-old and their dog on Tuesday evening.
Det. Lt. Samuel Moss said officers responded to a hit-and-run in the 1100 block of Reeds Lane between a vehicle and the teen, who was walking their dog.
According to police, the teen sustained a "serious bodily injury" and was taken to Norton Children's Hospital. The dog was also injured.
The suspected driver, Christopher Forsee, was arrested and initially charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury.
Police said the charge may change as the investigation continues.
