Did you know the Hubble telescope, the same one that has been sending back stunning images from space for years, is reporting on planetary weather? In the last few weeks, NASA has released updates on what Hubble has observed around Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus which we will break down here.

Until recently the radio telescope at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico was the largest on Earth. Now it has been destroyed, but not on purpose. Overnight between November 30 and December 1, another part of the telescope collapsed. This is actually the third time in the last 3-4 months a piece of this extensive array has failed and resulted in damage to the telescope.
A large asteroid will pass safely by early next week, and you may be able to see it! The asteroid is called (52768) 1998 OR2 and will be the largest asteroid to come this close to Earth this year.
