The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is extending this week's overnight southbound ramp and lane closures into the weekend, with an additional northbound lane closure starting Friday, May 8.

Multiple overnight ramp and lane closures on Interstate 65 South begin Monday, May 4 as part of the Central Corridor project.

The patching is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on I-264 West between mile markers 22 and 23, near U.S. 42 and Brownsboro Road.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will start demolition work on I-264 as part of a $130 million improvement project on the Watterson Expressway and Brownsboro Road. 

Interstate 264 will be closed in both directions from the I-264/I-64 interchange at mile point 18.7 to the I-264/I-71 interchange at mile point 22.7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
