From the moment they arrived at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, the veterans were celebrated for their service and sacrifice.

Honor Flight Bluegrass serves a purpose to give Kentuckiana veterans a day to reflect, and bring closure, while visiting memorials in Washington D.C. dedicated to the wars they served.

The body of Hershel "Woody" Williams was lying in state on Thursday.
