University of Louisville planetarium on the Belknap campus.

The planetarium on the Belknap campus used to host students for field trips throughout the year, but it has been closed to the public since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
UofL President Gerry Bradley said the planetarium has been operating at a loss for several years and the university subsidized its operation each year.
