As part of a new economic stimulus program, county commissioners are paying small businesses to pack meals for seniors citizens and members of the county's the homeless population.Â
The meals are distributed to Hope Southern Indiana, the Salvation Army and Catalyst Rescue Mission — a southern Indiana homeless shelter that serves hundreds of displaced Floyd County residents.
The bakery thanked its customers for their continued support and said it looks forward to serving the community at its Jeffersonville location.
