LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Atlantic Coast Conference released its 2025-26 women's basketball slate Tuesday, finalizing the full season schedule for Louisville. Game times and TV assignments will be announced later.
The non-conference schedule has been out for a while. With the bulk of last season's freshman class back in the fold and some transfers he's high on, Louisville coach Jeff Walz — as usual — scheduled ambitiously.
A look at the complete schedule, released today:
Nonconference highlights
- The Cardinals open on Nov. 4 against UConn in the Peraton Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
- Louisville plays in Brooklyn on Dec. 20 against Tennessee as part of the Women's Champions Classic.
- Other marquee non-league home games include Colorado (Nov. 12) and South Carolina (Dec. 4) at the KFC Yum! Center.
ACC Play
Louisville will play nine home and nine road games in league play. Notre Dame is the only home-and-home opponent, giving the Cards 18 total conference contests. Louisville has won at least 12 ACC games in all 11 of its seasons in the league and has never finished lower than fifth in the standings.
- Nov. 16: ACC opener at Clemson
- Dec. 14: at North Carolina
- Jan. 1: conference home opener vs. SMU
- Jan. 15: first meeting with Notre Dame (away)
- Feb. 26: final road trip at Georgia Tech
- March 1: regular-season finale vs. Notre Dame at the Yum! Center
Louisville will also host Virginia Tech, Pitt, Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest, Florida State and Virginia while traveling to Miami, N.C. State, Stanford, California and Syracuse.
Postseason
The ACC Tournament is set for March 4-8 in Duluth, Georgia, a change from its traditional home in Greensboro, followed by the NCAA Tournament beginning March 20.
Louisville returns a tradition of consistency: the program is the only ACC team to win 12 or more league games and finish top five every year since joining the conference.
