CFP National Championship Football

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The College Football Playoff National Championship trophy is headed to Bloomington, Indiana, and the school is planning a celebration Saturday for Indiana football.

Indiana University announced on social media on Tuesday morning that there would be a championship celebration at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. The post said "Hoosier Nation - we can’t wait to celebrate with you," but it didn't give details beyond that just saying "stay tuned for more details."

The Hoosiers' football team became the undefeated national champs Monday night. Indiana beat Miami 27-21 at Hard Rock Stadium for the College Football Playoff National Championship, with the Hoosiers becoming the first 16-0 team in major college football since Yale in 1894.
