LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville City FC successfully defended its USL Eastern Conference title and earned a berth in this Thursday's USL Cup match with a 5-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls II in Louisville Slugger Field on Friday.

The home team got two goals from Devon "Speedy" Williams to pull away from a club that had not been scored upon in the offseason.

LouCity will face the Western Conference champion in the USL Cup on Thursday at the University of Louisville's Lynn Stadium.
