LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After advancing to its ninth-straight Eastern Conference Final, Louisville City FC's season came to an end Saturday in a loss to the Charleston Battery.Ā
The boys in purple went down 2-0 and couldn't recover, which resulted in the 2-1 season-ending loss.

Charleston scored first just five minutes into the match after Arturo Rodriquez converted on a free kick.
It then became a 2-0 lead in the 58th minute when Augustine Williams scored on a penaltyĀ with a right footed shot toĀ the bottom right corner.
LouCity's lone goal on the night came from Kyle Adams in the 90th minute when he placed a header from close range into the back of the net following a corner.
The boys in purple ended their season with a 14-12-8 record. This was the first season that LouCity suffered double-digit losses.
