LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Kings announced the themes and giveaways for its inaugural United Football League Season at Lynn Family Stadium.
The team kicks off next month with several former local college stars on the field. Below is the promotions schedule, courtesy of the team:
- 8 p.m. Friday, March 27
- Kickoff in the ‘Ville, presented by Baptist Health
- The Kings will kick off the UFL season by honoring the local culture and community in a city with royal roots, introducing a new team into the family. For this game, we are asking our fans to put on their best Kings green for a “Green Out.”

- 8 p.m. Friday, April 10
- United By Giving – One Kingdom. One Community,
- As part of the UFL’s “United by Giving” initiative, the Kings will host United by Giving: One Kingdom. One Community. This community-focused game will rally fans, partners, and local organizations around a shared cause, reinforcing the power of football to unite and uplift the Louisville community. Through awareness efforts, in-game storytelling, and engagement opportunities, the Kings will demonstrate what it means to stand stronger together.

- 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30
- 502 School Spirit Night
- This is a game day designed to celebrate students, educators and school communities by encouraging fans to wear their own school colors and showcasing their school pride.

- Hats Off to Heroes
- This day is dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom and safety from military to first responders to local heroes making a daily difference in the lives of our community.

- Kids Rule the Kingdom
- It’s time to celebrate those Junior Kings! This game day will be focused on our area youth and families with all entertainment focused on a kid-focus day.
- Giveaway: Coach Chris Redman Bobblehead
Former Louisville quarterback Chris Redman will be the head coach for the Kings. Among the players selected by the Kings include former Kentucky stars Benny Snell and Lynn Bowden Jr. and Lorenzo Mauldin IV, a former Louisville pass rusher who went on to become one of the CFL's most feared defensive ends.

The Kings are one of three new franchises introduced for the 2026 UFL season, alongside the Columbus Aviators and Orlando Storm, becoming the city's first professional football team in decades.
Each team will play five home games and five road games over a 10-week regular season. There are no conferences. Instead, all eight teams compete in a single league table, and the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs in late May.
