Haley Schoengart joined the WDRB Sports team as an anchor and reporter in July 2025.
A native of Oldham County, Haley graduated from Oldham County High School in 2017 before receiving a degree in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in sports from Western Kentucky University in 2020. Haley spent nearly the next five years living in Michigan, working as a Sports anchor and reporter in Marquette and Lansing.
While in the Mitten State, she covered some of the state's biggest sports moments involving Detroit's professional sports teams, the athletic programs of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan, all while discovering a passion for her new favorite sport: hockey!
When she is not on the sidelines, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, unwinding with a good reality TV show, and taking in games as a fan. After almost five years away, Haley is beyond excited and grateful to be back home, covering teams she grew up watching for the TV station she grew up watching!
