LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Kentucky head basketball coach is giving fans a great reason to attend the Wildcats' first round game in the NCAA tournament.

During his radio show on Monday, Mark Pope offered to pay for fans' gas to drive to the Cats' game in Wisconsin. He said quote "if you're having trouble with gas money, hit me up."

The game is Friday at 7:10 p.m. in Milwaukee against Sun Belt champions the Troy Trojans.

Earlier this year, Pope offered to pay for fans' ice cream at Rupp Arena for a home game. Pope said he spent more than $2,000 on that offer.
