LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — What started out as creating sweet treats at home has turned into a business.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser explored the new Highlands location of Bae's Baekery.
The grand opening was in early July 2026.
Bae’s Baekery, established in 2019, grew from baking at home to producing tasty treats in a commercial kitchen to the grand opening of their Highlands store.
Born and raised in Louisville, Abigail McGreevy started Bae’s Baekery with Griffin McGreevy in their 750 sq. ft. micro apartment. Now, she is creating wedding cakes, teaching her baking craft, winning food competitions alongside prestigious restaurants, and creating new products weekly.
Bae’s Baekery specializes in stuffed, gourmet, and thick cookies, brown butter brownies, a variety of cream puffs, and cakes for any occasion.
At the new Highlands location, they have expanded to laminated pastries, a coffee partnership with Quills, hands-on baking, cake decorating classes, and cooking classes with local chefs.
Bae's Baekery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
