LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Catholic Charities of Louisville is using Mardi Gras as a way to help people in the community.
The organization is hosting its sixth annual Rouler fundraiser on Fat Tuesday at the Mellwood Arts Center. Catholic Charities of Louisville Chief Advancement Officer Ellen Hauber visited WDRB Mornings on Friday to talk more about it.
Rouler is their largest annual fundraiser of the year. Participants can enjoy New Orleans inspired foods and drinks, bingo, casino games, a silent auction, a king cake contest and raffles all while helping a good cause.
Catholic Charities of Louisville serves people in need across the city. They have several programs that are available to help people from the beginning of their life, all the way to the end.
