LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The third annual Spring Street Fest is returning to Jeffersonville on Saturday.
The festival blocks off the 200 block of Spring Street in Jeffersonville and will be set up with local art, vendors, food trucks, and six different live bands throughout the day.
The co-founders of the event, Chris Palmer and Dan Mahony, visited WDRB Mornings on Friday to talk more about the event and who will be performing.
As parents themselves, the two are looking forward to the event being family-friendly and giving back to the community.
"We got out of COVID and wanted to do something to bring the community together," Mahony said on WDRB Mornings. "Street festivals is something we both have enjoyed, so that's kinda how we got here."
Palmer and Mahony were able to secure a popular line-up for music, featuring several artists that are well known in the Louisville area and regionally.
The block party opens up around noon, with music kicking off at 2 p.m. It is free to the public.
