The famous Whistle Stop Restaurant in Historic Glendale, Ky has been voted the best non franchise restaurant in Kentucky for four years in a row by readers of Kentucky Living. Lynn and Mike Cummins are dedicated to real home coming and down home southern cuisine. Plus their desserts are fabulous!

This week they are bringing along Lynn's grandmother's Praline Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Roll, their new Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Pumpkin Soup!

Just a few of the favorites on the menu are the fried chicken which we hand dip and fry when you order it, the pork chops fry in a cast iron skillet, and they double dip our most popular fried green tomatoes. They still cook in southern tradition with recipes handed down through the years. The Whistle Stop offers great Southern style food and made from scratch desserts.
