LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Let your creativity run wild but on a smaller scale.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser discovers the big world of small pieces with the Louisville Miniature Club.
The Louisville Miniature Club puts on its 10th annual Show and Sale Saturday, Oct. 14.
The group was founded in 1973 by Janette Hutchison and is part of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (N.A.M.E.).
Today, many hobbyists use their talents to create one of kind scenes full of miniature furniture, dishes, windows and more.
Each dollhouse or structure comes to life on a small scale.
LMC is active in the community, putting on exhibits and programs that are open to the public, as well as a Show and Sale in October.
Many members have received ribbons from the Kentucky State Fair for their miniatures.
All scales are represented, from one inch and half scale to quarter scale, and micro-minis.
