LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Silks Bash is returning on the eve of the Kentucky Derby and bringing all of the Kentucky feels back for its sixth year.
The Silks Bash will take over the historic Locust Grove on Friday, May 3.
John Receveur and Laura Priest joined WDRB Mornings on Wednesday to talk more about the upcoming event.
Each year, the Silks Bash benefits Kentucky charity Operation Open Arms, a private child placement agency that provides foster homes for children whose mothers are incarcerated.
Operation Open Arms is a private foster care agency where the kids have not been removed by the state.
"They've done a great job supporting us as a foster family and they also do a great job serving kids and keeping them first," Priest said on WDRB Mornings.
The Silks Bash starts at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets cost $150 per person and include food and drink.
