LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Turnip the Beet keeps kids busy while parents do some Black Friday shopping.
It's the Black Friday Baking Camp from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Drop off your junior chef at 1164 S. Brook St. in Louisville and be on your way.
While at baking camp, your child will prepare several different baked goods to bring home.
Turnip the Beet serves lunch at 12:30 pm or students can bring their own lunches.
The day long camp is for ages 7 to 12.$80 per child.

Turnip the Beet encourages children to discover the joys of cooking while obtaining basic educational skills and culinary techniques.
Instructors teach kids to follow recipes, measure and combine ingredients, and work together as a team all while promoting personal creativity.
