It's officially summer now, but we've been dealing with spring-like storms. Why? June is know for high heat and humidity, that's usually a constant. When you combine that with unusually strong wind energy for this time of the year, severe weather can strike. The National Weather Service in Louisville has been out surveying the damage from storms Sunday night and found 3 tornados so far. The first was an EF1 in Clark County, IN with 100 mph winds.

The NWS has confirmed two additional tornadoes in Breckinridge county. One is an EF-1 with 100 mph winds near Clifton Mills, KY and the second is an EF0 with 85 mph winds near Mystic, KY. That's a total of 3 tornadoes so far and there's still work to be done so expect that number to rise. Surveys will continue tomorrow in southern Harrison, northern Meade, and perhaps Orange County as well.
