The U.S. Drought Monitor released their weekly update showing barely any change to drought conditions in our area. The first map below is the update; the second map shows last week's monitor. The only change is to extend the Moderate Drought conditions a couple miles farther southeast in southern Indiana.
We should see good rain tonight and scattered showers linger around our area through Monday or Tuesday. The heaviest rain will arrive in the next 18ish hours, but smaller amounts of rain will help add to the total over the following few days. In that window, most of you will see between half an inch and one inch of rain.
Turn to WDRB News on any of your devices today to see the updated timeline on when all of this rain arrives. If you're not at a TV, you can stream our newscasts on wdrb.com and in the WDRB+ app.
