The updated U.S. Drought Monitor is sent out every Thursday morning, and this week there has been some change in our communities. The map below is last week's Drought Monitor.Â
This week's update shows drought worsening west of here which means Abnormally Dry conditions have extended to include a few more of our far western communities.Â
The good news is we have rounds of rain moving through with a cold front in the next few days. Many communities will pick up between half an inch and one inch of rain over two days which will help these Abnormally Dry conditions.Â
