Many of you saw the newly launched starlink satellites over our area last night from SpaceX's most recent launch.

Here's some good news, there could be another pass over our area tonight! We say "could" because predicting where these will be visible is not as easy and direct as finding the ISS. "The orbit of the satellites change often, and without warning. Even if the satellites pass over you, many things need to go right for them to reflect enough sunlight to be seen. Actual times may vary by 10 mins" -findstarlink.com

So...when and where could they be visible tonight?

You'll want to look west around 7:07pm this evening! The satellites should pass and head toward and disappear over the northwest sky. They should be visible for around 4 minutes and will be around 39 degrees above the horizon.

There will be some clouds at that time tonight, but not all of them will be thick. If you are able to see them fly over, they'll appear as a line of bright lights flying across the sky.
