Ana Reyes (left), of Louisville, went before the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, for a confirmation hearing on her way to becoming a U.S. District Court judge. Her first grade teacher, Pat Harkleroad (right), who Reyes credits for her success, was there for the big day.
