LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville family captured and shared a video of the moment a newborn met his 101-year-old great-great-grandma.
First-time mom, Maggie Huelsman, posted the video to TikTok and the comments are filled with loving regards for the moment.

One comment suggested Maggie reach out to local news reporters to share the feel-good story. WDRB's Monica Harkins was tagged and the two scheduled an interview for the next day.
Huelsman shared her son David was born February 5, and before they left the hospital it was a priority to meet family matriarch Elizabeth Cummings, lovingly referred to as "Nanny."
"She's just excited about everything, which is always fun," Huelsman said. "And I think that's how you should be when you're 101, but one thing that was really important to me and my husband was that she is able to meet him like in the hospital. We wanted her to be able to meet him as soon as possible."
Huelsman shared she unexpectedly lost her dad in March 2023. Her son is named in his honor.
"They were very close, so [that] was really nice too. She was very excited that one, he was named after him and two, that she was going to be able to be here to meet him," Huelsman said. "And just being able to see her hold him, and interact with him, was something that was really, really special."
She said Nanny's in good health and she is still in touch with the happenings of her family member's lives.
"She always kind of acted surprised that she was here to meet him when her father lived to be almost 102 as well. So we are not really surprised," Huelsman said.
Huelsman said she hopes by sharing the video on social media others can share in the joy her family felt in that moment.
"It's just a feel good story and just something to see that I think that a lot of people can use," she said.
