LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.

Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening the weekend of Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22.


The Flea Off Market

The Flea Off Market returns this weekend in its new home in Louisville's Smoketown neighborhood.

The market and craft fair is being held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 21 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at The Smoketown Flea, 817 Logan St.

Explore dozens of vendor booths including local artists, craftsperson, collectors, farmers and more, check out some local food trucks and enjoy live music. There will also be seasonal cocktails and craft beer.

The market is scheduled for every weekend in March through April, with more dates to come, at its Smoketown location.

JCPS Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair

Jefferson County Public Schools will host a community baby shower and resource fair this weekend.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, expecting parents can get information and learn about resources available to them.

Families can also get supplies to help prepare and guide them on their parenthood journeys. Organizers said the event is the most beneficial for those currently expecting or those who have a child between the ages of 0-5 years old.

There will also be workshops and presentations, a resource fair, and free baby items and clothing to take home.

The shower and resource fair will be held at Klondike Lane Elementary School, at 3807 Klondike Lane.

2026 Spring Book Sale at Locust Grove

Locust Grove will host its Spring Book Sale for 2026 this weekend.

The free event gives guests the opportunity to "discover thousands of gently used books at fantastic prices" and stock up on their spring reads.

You can explore thousands of books of all genres, including children's books. This sale also includes items from a recent estate sale, with hundreds of books about the Civil War, American and Kentucky history, rare and historical volumes.

The three-day event starts Friday, March 20, at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. It then runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22.

Historic Locust Grove is located at 561 Blankenbaker Lane in Louisville.

Safari EGGventure at the Louisville Zoo

The Louisville Zoo is holding its Safari EGGventure  through April 12. This weekend marks the second for the spring event.

The EGGventure gives guests a chance to explore the zoo with a scavenger hunt game looking for hidden zoo-themed eggs, answering trivia questions and competing in special challenges.

Families can play just for fun or to compete for prizes, including zoo membership, plush animals and more. 

The Safari EGGventure is free with zoo admission.

Louisville hosts NCAA Tournament

The first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship is being held in Louisville this weekend.

UofL, 27-7, is the No. 3 seed going into their matchup Saturday, March 21, at noon against Vermont at the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville. The Catamounts are 27-7 themselves, winners of the America East, and have taken eight of their last nine, according to WDRB's Eric Crawford.

The Cardinals play in Game 1, with Alabama and Rhode Island playing in Game 2.

Tickets include admission to both games. Doors open 75 minutes before Game 1, which is at noon.
