LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13.
Harvest Homecoming
The annual fall festival in downtown New Albany is preparing for what could be its biggest crowds ever this weekend.
Booth days kicked off Thursday and run through Sunday, with about 200 vendors. From arts and crafts, jewelry, art and clothes, to food — hello donuts and chicken & dumplings — wine, beer, games for the kids and carnival rides, there is something for everyone.
Harvest Homecoming is expected to bring in about $11 million to the local economy this year, and small business owners are ready. Attendance is expected to be 700,000 for the four booth days.
Along with booth days, there will be movie nights and a balloon glow scheduled on Friday from 5-9 p.m.

Jack O'Lantern Spectacular
Each fall, more than 5,000 pumpkins are intricately decorated and lined throughout the trails at Iroquois Park part of the annual Jack O'Lantern Spectacular.
More than 100 large pumpkins, called "Intricates," will be set up and waiting for finishing touches and carvings. And they will be joined by thousands of others along the trail.
Planning for the event started last November, and drawings started a few weeks ago. The artists can spend anywhere from three hours to three days on a piece, depending on its size and detail.
Depending on the weather, the pumpkins are switched out about every 10 days. The theme this year is "Trivia Night: Pumpkin Edition."
During the walk you will find anything from pop culture to sci-fi to nature.
The proceeds from the event — which runs now through Nov. 2 — will benefit the Parks Alliance of Louisville.
