LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Center for Women and Families is asking for donations to provide a special holiday season for its clients.
The shelter and counseling center provides support for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault.
The center is asking for gift cards, which will "help empower clients on their journey to breaking free and reclaiming control of their lives" as they can use them to shop for themselves.
New and unwrapped toys are also being requested for kids ages 0-17.
Donations can be dropped off at the center's downtown location, 927 South 2nd Street. Gift cards can also be mailed to The Center for Women and Families, P.O. Box 2048, Louisville, Kentucky, 40201.
