LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman died after being hit by a car Saturday night in Valley Station.
Louisville Metro Police said they were called on a report of someone down in the 9600 block of Holiday Drive, near 3rd Street Road, Saturday about 8:41 p.m., said department spokesperson Adam Sears.
Sears said officers found a woman unconscious lying in the road. EMS arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Police said the woman was walking along 3rd Street Road near Holiday Drive when she was hit by a car that fled the scene.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating, but have no suspects or vehicle descriptions.
