LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this month in Louisville's Fern Creek neighborhood that left one woman injured.
Louisville Metro Police said detectives arrested Brittnei Miles, 36, and Justin S. Shell, 38, Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened Aug. 11 in the 5500 block of Hames Trace.Â
Police found a woman who had been shot in the leg. She was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Miles and Shell each are charged with first-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment, both as complicity charges.
The investigation is ongoing. Both Miles and Shell are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
