LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman was hospitalized after being shot early Tuesday morning in Louisville's Fern Creek neighborhood.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting at 12:50 a.m. in the 5500 block of Hames Trace.
Police found a woman who had been shot in the leg. She was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
