LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Frazier History Museum unveiled a new mural in downtown Louisville on Friday morning.
The mural meant to promote tourism Kentucky features images of stories and objects guests will find inside the Frazier. You'll recognize iconic pieces of Kentucky history, like the disco ball and the Corvette, along with encouraging messages.
It took five artists a little over two weeks to complete the mural. The artists put in more than 500 hours of work and used more than 25 gallons of paint to complete the mural.
Jeremy Lewis, one of the artists who helped paint the mural, said they were glad to share their passion with the city.
"It's a pleasure to not only see this one completed but drive around the city and see our artwork in general on the walls," Lewis said. "It's what we're most passionate about, so to be able to see it in person means a lot to us."
