LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- America's largest underground holiday light show will open for the 2023 season on Friday, Nov. 10.

Louisville Mega Caverns' "Lights Under Louisville" has expanded its display to take guests on a 30-minute visit that spans 1.3 miles.

There will also be the first holographic Santa and holiday display to be seen in the United States.

It'll be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. beginning Friday at 6 p.m. and will continue through New Year's Day.

"We began building this year’s holiday light extravaganza in August to create the most immersive Lights Under Louisville yet, complete with a hologram Santa Clause and holiday display, the first of its kind domestically," Charles Park, Louisville Mega Cavern Executive President, said in a news release. "We are thrilled to once again partner with Fifth Third Bank this year, as well as Holovisn, as we welcome visitors to our best holiday experience under Louisville.”

Passes begin at $42.99 per vehicle. Guests can also purchase priority passes by 2 p.m. on the date of attendance. All passes must be purchased online, cash will not be accepted.
