LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Changes are coming to Louisville's Triple Crown of Running event.

Organizers said Tuesday that in honor of the race's 40th year, they're bringing back the Louisville 10-Mile race, which will finish on the 50-yard line of L&N Stadium.

The Whiskey Row 5K will be held March 1, 2025, with the Derby City 10K on March 15, and the Louisville 10-Mile race closing out the event on March 29.

Organizers said the series helps people get in shape for longer runs in Louisville.

"The runners typically use our races to train up to the Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon and Marathon, and we offer post-race swag to celebrate their accomplishments," Race Director Dan Lakin said.

The event website will go live for registration on Wednesday morning on their website, here.
