LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Fern Creek celebrated the opening of a brand new indoor playspace on Wednesday.
Wonder Kids Playland is a learning and entertainment center located off Bardstown Road near the Gene Snyder Freeway.
The play space is set up like a miniature town for kids, including a hospital, supermarket and fire station to teach children about the world they'll live in. The space is designed to inspire creativity, social development and early learning through imaginative play.
The playspace is open to children ages 1 to 8. Admission is free Wednesday and Thursday, July 23-24, for children of police, firefighters and military families in celebration of its grand opening.
