LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Humane Society will host a dog-friendly event in downtown Louisville this weekend.
Waggin' Tail on the Waterfront starts at noon and continues until 4 p.m. this Sunday, June 1, at Waterfront Park's Festival Plaza on 231 Witherspoon Street.
According to a news release, the family festival raises funds for animals in need. The nonprofit raised more than $100,000 last year.
"Waggin' Tail at the Waterfront has something for every member of the family – two-legged and four-legged,” Savannah Gregorchik-Menendez, Development Director, said a i news release. "From painting for dogs to live music and some of Louisville’s best food trucks, June 1 promises to be a fun-filled day at the Waterfront."
There will be live music, food trucks, pet-themed vendors and adoptable dogs.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online by clicking here.
