LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- With just 100 days to go until the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby, submissions are now open for this year's Survivors Parade at the Kentucky Oaks.
The parade is happening Friday, May 3, at Churchill Downs. This will be the 16th year for the annual parade.
Those who have overcome, or are currently battling, a breast or ovarian cancer diagnosis and have never participated in the parade are invited to send in their story.Â
Once the submission period is over, 150 people will be chosen at random to take part in the annual parade.Â
Selected participants will also get two tickets to the 150th Kentucky Oaks.

The deadline to submit is Tuesday, Feb. 20. Winners will be announced Monday, Feb. 26.
