An explosion in Evansville, Indiana destroyed one home and damaged several others nearby on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022. At least three people were injured. Image courtesy WEVV.Â

The explosion had a 100-foot blast radius, Evansville Fire Chief Mike Connelly said.
Investigators said a leaking gas line in the basement of the home "was found uncapped, with the valve in the open position."
