Family-owned bourbon giant Heaven Hill Brands is giving $800,000 to nonprofit causes over the next five years in Louisville's California neighborhood, where it owns the Bernheim Distillery.
The moves come as the broader spirits industry is navigating slowing demand after the business surged during the pandemic and its immediate aftermath.
