Indiana State Police investigators returned to former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel's house in Jeffersonville on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023. A spokesperson said several search warrants were being served as part of the agency's investigation into the former sheriff, who was charged with 15 felonies earlier this month. (WDRB photo)

Noel was arrested in November on 15 felony charges of theft, fraud, ghost employment and corruption.
One of the conditions of Noel's release from jail after posting bond prohibited him from owning any guns, aside from a shotgun for personal protection at his request.
