New JCPS middle school in west Louisville one step closer to reality

The district is proposing a change to the student assignment plan, which would allow students to choose to go to a school close to their home or one far away.

Local schools to hold drive-through orientations, school supply pick-ups

“Students and families can meet school staff, pick up books and other supplies and receive the Chromebook, WiFi hotspot or other device they’ve requested,” Jefferson County Public Schools said in a news release.
